SIC adapt! was invited to attend the 7th Adaptation Steering Group (ASG) meeting and to present its outputs and impacts reached so far.

The ASG is composed by all 27 Member States and other European organizations (Eurocities, Eureau, ICLEI) involved in climate change. It is preparing and discussing the European Adaptation Strategy which will be launched in spring 2013 by DG Climate Action Commissioner Conny Hedegaard.

MEP Vittorio Prodi (S&D), Italy, the former Vice-Chair of the non-standing Climate Change Committee and Director Humberto Delgado Rosa from DG Climate Action as well as the representatives of the Member States have got first hand information and a copy of the "Policy Recommendations" worked out by the Cluster.
